Aviation Management

 

 

Der Flughafen als ein zentraler Baustein eines reibungslos funktionierenden Luftverkehrssystems steht vor großen Herausforderungen in Bezug auf ökologische und ökonomische Nachhaltigkeit sowie veränderte ordnungspolitische Rahmenbedingungen. Für entstehende neue Lösungsansätze und Architekturen am Flughafen wird deshalb die Herstellung einer zuverlässigen Bewertungsfähigkeit immer wichtiger. Beispielsweise ist im erweiterten Flughafenkontext die Bewertung neuer Ansätze im Übergang vom Boden- zum Lufttransport enorm wichtig, um so Effizienz, Kosteneinsparungen und hohe Servicequalität sicherzustellen.

Die Forscher im Leitthema „Aviation Management“ nähern sich der Vielfalt der Fragestellungen auf drei Ebenen: Auf der strategischen Ebene werden für die robustere Entscheidungsvorbereitung in dynamischen und unsicheren Märkten universelle Szenarien entwickelt, die relevante systeminterne und externe Faktoren abbilden. Auf der operationellen Ebene werden land- und luftseitige Prozesse unterschiedlicher Akteure im Lufttransportsystem analysiert, wie z.B. die Abfertigung von Passagieren und Fracht. Auf der Technologie-Ebene werden neue Technologien vor dem Hintergrund der identifizierten zukünftigen technischen, wirtschaftlichen und strategischen Rahmenbedingungen bewertet. Die entwickelten Lösungskonzepte sollen dabei die Ergebnisse der Szenarioanalyse sowie die Komplexität der Wirkungszusammenhänge innerhalb des Luftverkehrssystems berücksichtigen.
