Through engaging conversations with experts from academia, politics, and industry, we show how aerospace technologies shape our daily lives – often unnoticed, yet indispensable.
In the tenth episode, we talk to Azadeh Farajpour and Dr. Tobias Orthen, the founders of betterSoil, about whether –and how – a view from space can help make our soils healthier. Their startup has developed the Farm Assistant, a digital application that combines satellite data with environmental and farm data to provide evidence-based recommendations for soil management. This makes it possible to detect changes in agricultural land at an early stage and to plan targeted measures for healthier and more sustainable soils.
