3rd Global Aerospace Summit in São Paulo

3rd Global Aerospace Summit Sao Paulo

5 June 2019 - From 27 to 31 May, researchers from the seven partner regions Bavaria, Georgia (USA), Québec (Canada), São Paulo (Brazil), Shandong (China), Western Cape (South Africa) and Upper Austria gathered at a scientific conference in São José dos Campos. Within the four topic areas aerospace, mini satellites, digitisation and energy, researchers presented latest results from their regions.

The conference is São Paulo's contribution to the Munich Aerospace project Global Aerospace Campus. Under this motto leading scientists from the Bavarian partner regions develop online courses and exchange ideas at global conferences. Professor Oskar Haidn of the Technical University of Munich and Professor Günter Hein of the Bundeswehr University Munich presented current developments in aerospace in Bavaria.

The event contributed to the preparation of the Regional Leaders Summit 2020 in Upper Austria. For this Munich Aerospace prepares the Bavarian input for "Smart Aerospace".
