Open professorships at the TUM Department of Aerospace and Geodesy
9 December 2020 – The Department of Aerospace and Geodesy (LRG) of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) invites applications for three professorships to begin in winter semester 2021/2022.
With more than 50 professorships, including 30 new appointments, the TUM Department of Aerospace and Geodesy is to become the largest of its kind in Europe. Founded in the spring of 2018, the department already ranks among the best internationally and is the number one in research, teaching and innovation in Germany. It will continue to expand this position in the years to come through professional reinforcements at the interfaces of the classical disciplines. The LRG relies on the high-tech location in Ottobrunn/Taufkirchen and the cooperation with industry, startups and international top institutions.
For the winter semester 2021/2022 the department invites applications for the following positions:
- Full Professor in "Ground-Based High-Speed Transportation Systems"
- Full Professor in "Space Propulsion"
- Professor in "Lunar and Planetary Exploration Technologies"
