Partner Event at the TUM Institute for Geodesy

14 January 2020 - 28 members of the Munich Aerospace Research Network had the chance to gain insights in the Institute of Astronomical and Physical Geodesy of the Technical University of Munich. The Partner Event provided scientific lectures by Professor Roland Pail, Professor Uwe Silla, Professor Urs Hugentobler and Professor Florian Seitz. Also the Remote Sensing Laboratory was presented. The event concluded with a discussion on global climatic changes. Professor Seitz argued, that the field of geodesy is playing a crucial role in gaining knowledge about the climate change.
Munich Aerospace Partner Events are part of the Munich Aerospace Graduate School. These events take place at the premises of our members DLR, TUM, UniBw and Bauhaus Luftfahrt, aiming to further connect the four partners, and to give network members the chance to get to know each other’s facilities.
