UniBw Partner Event in Neubiberg

28 March 2019 - At the UniBw Partner Event, 25 members of the Munich Aerospace Research Network got an insight into the facilities on the campus in Neubiberg. A welcome address by former Munich Aerospace Executive Professor Bernd Häusler was followed by visits and presentations at the Institute for Mathematics and Computer Applications and the Institute of Information Technology. The event was concluded with a lecture on sensor technology.
Munich Aerospace Partner Events are part of the Munich Aerospace Graduate School. These events take place at the premises of our members DLR, TUM, UniBw and Bauhaus Luftfahrt, aiming to further connect the four partners, and to give network members the chance to get to know each other’s facilities.Matthias Gerdts, Chair for Engineering Mathematics, presents the Vehicle in the loop, a virtual reality simulator in combination with real automatic driving experience.
Participants had the chance to test-drive the simulator.
The research associates Robert Schwarz and Ovais Bin Usman introduced the facilities at the Institute of Information Technology.
