Open positions at TUM's Hyperloop

Munich Aerospace veröffentlicht Raumfahrt-Report aus dem Space Valley

2 June 2020 - The student team of the Technical University of Munich has won Elon Musk’s SpaceX Hyperloop Pod Competition in Los Angeles four times in a row. Now TUM is turning the traffic lights for the mobility of the future to green.

In the new Department of Aerospace and Geodesy, research on the Hyperloop technology will be professionalized and integrated in a cross-functional hub for technological innovation. In the months to come, a test stand will be set up on which functional tests of various subsystems and the overall sys-tem will be carried out. At the same time, a modelling platform will be developed to analyze the specifics and characteristics of a multimodal European network. The activities, which will involve a large number of chairs of TUM, will be headquartered in Taufkirchen/Ottobrunn, where the new Department of Aerospace and Geodesy is based. For the ramp-up and coordination of the interdisciplinary project team and for the coordination of all activities we are looking for a full-time project coordinator and a project assistance to start as soon as possible.
