Munich Aerospace Scholarship Recipient wins ICSSA Best Student Paper Award
20 December 2017 - Munich Aerospace Scholarship Recipient Ksenia Klionovska (second from right) was awarded second place at the Best Student Paper Award during the 1st International Academy of Astronautics Conference on Space Situational Awareness (ICSSA) for her paper "Close Range Tracking of An Uncooperative Space Target in a Sequence of PMD Images". Together with Klionovska's entry, two other student papers were honoured. Announcement of the award came during the 3-day conference on 13-15 November in Orlando, Florida. Ksenia Klionosvska is the principal author on the paper. Her co-authors are Munich Aerospace alumnus Jacopo Ventura and DLR researchers Dr Heike Benninghoff and Professor Felix Huber.
