Munich Aerospace Summer School at Gut Sonnenhausen

16/17 July 2018 - Returning to old tradition, the Munich Aerospace Summer School 2018 is aimed again at the current Munich Aerospace Research Groups:

  • Re-entry Optimisation to Minimise Heating or Infrared Signature, Lead: Professor Christian Mundt (UniBw)
  • Certifiable Autonomy in Unmanned Aerial Vehicles, Lead: Dr Günther Reißig (UniBw)
  • Propulsion Technologies for Green In-Orbit Spacecraft, Lead: Professor Oskar Haidn (TUM)
  • Efficient Coding and Modulation for Satellite Links with Severe Delay Constraints, Lead: Professor Gerhard Kramer (DLR)
  • Eco-efficient Airport - Framework and Development Perspectives for Ecologically Sustainable Air Traffic, Lead: Dr Kay Plötner (Bauhaus Luftfahrt)

For two days, researchers discuss first advances and development potentialities of their research activities in closed session in the presence of members of the Munich Aerospace Scientific Advisory Board. The conference gives Munich Aerospace Scholarship Recipients the chance to exchange with doctoral candidates and experienced researchers and gain insight into other topics. Coaching elements and a team event round off the Summer School.
