The Munich Aerospace concept is based on the expertise of numerous institutes and academic chairs working in the field of aerospace, thus giving rise to a unique concentration of activities, contributing to improving training and further education of young scientists and skilled staff. Coordinating the partner institutions’ research and development results it has also become possible for the first time to systematically utilise their synergies. Munich Aerospace enables this by engaging in four fields of activity:

• Promoting interdisciplinary research,
• providing networked teaching,
• managing the Graduate School,
• providing a scholarship programme.
