For the sake of easier reading, no gender-specific distinction is made in our data protection declaration. The terms used apply, in the context of equal treatment, to all genders. The meaning of the terminology used, for example ‘personal data’ or its ‘processing’ can be found in Article 4 GDPR.

Data transfers to a third country or an international organization
Third countries are countries in which the GDPR is not a directly applicable law. This basically includes all countries outside the EU, respectively, the European Economic Area.
A transfer of data to a third country or an international organization takes place on the legal basis of consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR.
Length of storage of your personal data
We adhere to the principles of data economy and data avoidance. This means that we only store your data for as long as it is needed to fulfil the previously named purposes, or as laid down by the manifold storage periods provided for by the legislator. If the relevant purpose no longer exists, respectively after expiry of the appropriate period, your data is routinely blocked, respectively erased, in accordance with the statutory provisions

We advise you that emails can be read or changed, unnoticed and without authorization, during transmission. Furthermore, we would also like to bring to your attention that we use software to filter unwanted emails (spam filter). Emails can be rejected by the spam filter if they are wrongly identified as spam due to the presence of certain characteristics.
What rights do you have?
You have the right to obtain information about your stored data free of charge. Upon request, we will tell you in writing, what personal data about you we have stored. This also includes the origin and recipient of your data, as well as the purpose of the data processing.

If your data that we have stored in incorrect, you have the right to have it corrected. You can demand a limitation to the processing of your personal data if, for example, the accuracy of your personal data is contested.
c) Right to blocking
Furthermore, you can have your data blocked. So that a blocking of your data can be taken into consideration at any time, the data must be held in a lock file for control purposes.

g) Right to object
You have the option to object to the processing of your data at any time for reasons arising from your particular situation in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 letters e) and f); this also applies to profiling based on these provisions.
We will then stop processing your personal data unless it can be shown that there are compelling legitimate reasons for processing which outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the purpose of enforcing, exercising or defending legal claims.
If personal data are processed in order to carry out direct advertising, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data relating to you for the purposes of this type of advertising; this also applies to profiling insofar as it is in connection with such direct advertising. In the event of such an objection, we will no longer process your personal data for the purpose of direct advertising. It is sufficient to send us an appropriate email.
h) Right to withdraw consent
You have the option to withdraw your consent to the processing of your data at any time, with future effect, without giving any reason. You will not be disadvantaged in any way by withdrawing your consent. It is sufficient to send us an appropriate email
However, such an objection does not affect the legality of processing procedures which had already been carried out on the legal basis of Art. 6 Para. 1 letter. a) GDPR before consent was withdrawn.
Protection of your personal data
We take state of the art contractual, technical and organizational security measures to ensure compliance with the provisions of the data protection laws and therefore, to protect the processed data against accidental or deliberate manipulation, loss, destruction or against access by unauthorized persons.
In particular, our security measures include the encrypted transfer of data between your browser and our server. 256-bit-SSL (AES 256) encryption technology is used for this.
Therefore, your personal data is protected in the context of the following points (extract):

Protection of minors
Persons who are under 16, can only provide us with their personal information with the express consent of the persons having parental responsibility. These data will be processed in accordance with our data protection declaration
Server Log Files
The provider of the pages automatically collects and stores information in socalled server log files which are automatically transmitted to us by your browser. These are:
- Browser type and browser version
- Operating system used
- Referrer URL
- time of the server request
- IP address
These data are not combined with other data sources.
The basis of the data processing is Art. 6 para, 1 lit. f). GDPR, which permits data processing for our legitimate interests.
Cookies are small text files which are stored locally in your internet browser’s cache. Cookies enable, for example, internet browser recognition. The files are used to help the browser navigate through the website and use all the functions to their full extent.
If you register for our newsletter, we will send you regular information about our offers. Personal data will be collected for this. Your email address is the only information required to send the newsletter. The provision of any other data is voluntary and will be used for the purpose of addressing you personally. These data will be used by us for our own advertising purposes, in the form of the email newsletter, insofar as you have expressly consented to this in the following way:
"Yes, I would like to register for the newsletter! I have taken note of the data protection notice"
We use the so-called double-opt-in procedure for sending the newsletter. This means that we will not send you the email newsletter until you have expressly confirmed that you consent to the sending of it. We then send you a confirmation email which asks you to confirm, by clicking on the appropriate link, that you wish to receive the newsletter in future.
By activating the confirmation link, you give us your consent to the use of your personal data in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a) GDPR. At the time of registering for the newsletter, we store the IP address listed by your Internet service provider as well as the date and time of the registration so that a possible misuse of your email address at a later time can be traced.
Use of Google Analytics
Insofar as you have given your consent, Google Analytics, a Google LLC web analysis service, is employed on this website. The responsible service provider in the EU is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”).Scope of the processing
We use the function “anonymizeIP” (so-called IP masking): Due to the activation of IP anonymization on this website, Google shortens your IP address within the European Union member states or in other states party to the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address will be transferred to a server belonging to Google and shortened there. The IP address transferred by your browser in the context of Google Analytics, will not be combined with any other data by Google.

Use of YouTube videos
We use the YouTube implementation function to show and play videos from the provider, “YouTube”, which belongs to Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”).
According to notes from YouTube, these are used to collect video statistics, improve user friendliness, and prevent misuse, among other things. If you are logged into Google, your data will be directly attributed to your account when you click on a video. If you do not want this attribution to your YouTube profile, you must log out before activating the button.
Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and evaluates them. Such an evaluation takes place in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit, f GDPR, on the basis of Google’s legitimate interests in showing personalized advertising, market research and/or the needs-based design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of this user profile, whereby you must contact YouTube to exercise this right.
A transfer of personal data to the servers belonging to Google LLC in the USA can take place during the use of YouTube. Independent of the playback of the embedded videos, every access to this website creates a connection with the Google network, which can lead, without our influence, to further data processing procedures.

Use of Google Maps
We use Google Maps (API) from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”) on this website. Google Maps is a web service for the presentation of interactive map material.
The use of this service allows our location to be shown and a possible journey facilitated. When the subpages in which the maps from Google Maps are integrated are accessed, information about your use of our website (e.g. including your IP address), is transferred to Google’s servers and stored there, in this way, there can also be a transfer to the servers of Google LLC in the USA. This occurs irrespective of whether Google provides a user account over which you are logged in, or whether a user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your data will be directly attributed to your account. If you do not want the attribution to your Google profile, you must log out before activating the button. Use of Google Ads Conversion Tracking
We use the online advertising program "Google Ads" on this website and in the context of Google Ads, Conversion Tracking by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland (“Google”). We use Google Ads’ offering to draw attention to offers on external websites with the help of advertising materials (so-called Google Adwords). We can use the advertising campaign data to find out how successful the individual advertising measures are. Our purpose in this, is to show you advertising which is of interest to you, design our website in a more interesting way for you and calculate incidental advertising costs.
