The Munich Space Summit was held for the first time from 23 to 27 March 2026. Alongside Munich Aerospace, the University of the Bundeswehr Munich and the German Aerospace Center (DLR) were among the partners and organizers of the international conference.

The Munich Space Summit takes place from March 23 to 27, 2026, at the Alte Kongresshalle in Munich and, for the first time, combines the established Munich Satellite Navigation Summit and the Munich New Space Summit into a week-long forum for innovation, exchange, and cooperation.

On February 10, 2026, Bayerischer Rundfunk organized the event “Die Welt ordnet sich neu – Von der Erde bis ins All” in the run-up to the Munich Security Conference. The discussion format was broadcast live on ARD_alpha and consisted of three consecutive panels in which current issues relating to security, geopolitics, and space technologies were discussed. Dr. Andreas Lermann (Managing Director Munich Aerospace) participated as a discussion partner on the panel “Space and Security.”

In the new Innovation Centre Denmark report ‘Germany Takes Europe To Space’, Dr. Andreas Lermann, CEO of Munich Aerospace, discusses the role of Germany and Bavaria in the space sector.

To mark its 15th anniversary, Munich Aerospace brought together science and industry at “Science Meets Industry.” 110 guests took the opportunity to network at the TUM campus in Ottobrunn.

Seven of the 13 Munich Aerospace scholarship recipients received their certificates in person in early October.

From March 23 to 27, 2026, the Munich Space Summit will take place for the first time. This new format combines the Munich New Space Summit and the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit.

Munich Aerospace was founded in July 2010. Its 15th anniversary offers a perfect opportunity to reflect on the past and look ahead to the future.

At the second International Aerospace Congress (AACII) in Nuremberg, Munich Aerospace hosted a variety of representatives from politics, science, and industry at its booth.
