About
Zero-emission aviation is one of the key challenges in times of climate change. Starting with a brief introduction to the business units of MTU Aero Engines, the presentation will look at future requirements for modern aircraft engines and then move on to selected climate-friendly technology developments at MTU. These will be presented in their essential features and classified with regard to their reduced climate impact. Using the example of aerodynamic development, selected current challenges and innovative processes for the design of modern engine components will then be presented.
