To mark its 15th anniversary, Munich Aerospace brought together science and industry at “Science Meets Industry.” 110 guests took the opportunity to network at the TUM campus in Ottobrunn.

Seven of the 13 Munich Aerospace scholarship recipients received their certificates in person in early October.

From March 23 to 27, 2026, the Munich Space Summit will take place for the first time. This new format combines the Munich New Space Summit and the Munich Satellite Navigation Summit.

Munich Aerospace was founded in July 2010. Its 15th anniversary offers a perfect opportunity to reflect on the past and look ahead to the future.

At the second International Aerospace Congress (AACII) in Nuremberg, Munich Aerospace hosted a variety of representatives from politics, science, and industry at its booth.

From 23-25 October 2024, the Science Congress Center Munich became the centre of discussions shaping the future of Europe’s space industry. The Munich New Space Summit 2024 welcomed 312 participants from 20 countries, featuring 15 panels, 7 keynotes, and an exhibition showcasing innovations from 14 international exhibitors.
This second edition of the summit provided a unique platform for experts, innovators, and policymakers to address pressing challenges and opportunities in the New Space sector. From fostering collaboration across industries to building resilience in Europe’s space infrastructure, the event emphasized the strategic importance of space as a driver for innovation, security, and economic growth.

Munich Aerospace, represented by Dr. Peter Hülse (Head of Strategy and Projects) and Sonali Rani (Ph.D. candidate and Munich Aerospace scholarship holder), participated in the RLS-Sciences Overall Conference 2024 in Québec City. The conference brought together international researchers from the Digital Health, Energy Network, Global Aerospace Campus, and Small Satellites groups.

The second Munich New Space Summit will take place in October! The summit’s program covers all the topics currently affecting the New Space community. Panel discussions, pitching sessions and keynote speeches are the focus of the event. But of course there will also be plenty of opportunities to exchange ideas and make new contacts, be it at the state reception in the Residenz or at the New Space Night with live music.

In 2024, the RLS-Sciences Digital Week will be held from 15-19 April, and will be held under the theme “Science Adoption in Innovation Ecosystems at the Regional Level” .
